Location     Archer Court is situated in an established section of Morphett Vale between South Road and States Road. We are co-located with Morphett Vale Primary School and bounded at the rear by a small creek and situated amongst huge gum trees. We have the sea to the west of us and the Adelaide Hills to the east. We are approximately 27kms from the GPO in Adelaide and belong to the City of Onkaparinga Council area, in the South Australian State government area of Mawson and in the Federal government seat of Kingston.   Local Community     We maintain a close working relationship with our feeder schools, and other local services (Child and Youth Health, Dental Clinic and other State organisations S.C.O.S.A., and  I.D.S.C.) .       We coordinate with our local school, Morphett Vale East Primary School, to provide a very comprehensive transition programme. Children are accompanied by a kindy staff person on each of the 7 visits in the term prior to starting school. The children become familiar with school routines, especially of the  library (and borrow each week), a classroom, and recess time.               We are involved in  our local community. We travel by public bus to regularly visit The Vales Aged Care Facility, on States Rd. once a term to sing to the "Grandma's and Grandpa's."       We are also involved in work experience with local high school students. Families using this Centre come from a variety of Australian and multicultural backgrounds. We have a variety of single parents and blended families as well as traditional family structures. We have some of our parents studying and several families have both parents working.
